We are gearing up to plenty of racing this weekend and next week and have been helped with mild weather and lots of opportunities to school and canter on the grass at the farm as well as working the horses on the woodchip gallops.
We have had a new arrival from Denmark with the ex French Bialco, pictured. Having won over fences in France for Simon Munir, the six year old was bought by our good friends Morton and Iben Buscop and arrived in Scotland last week in search of soft ground chases. He is a good 16.3 hands high and has a super attitude so we are looking forward to running him in the new year.
We are delighted that Behindthelines has been sold to an exciting new charity syndicate; more details soon, but it is to support a very brave friend who is facing tremendous challenges.
The shares in Jump For Dough are selling well; there are just two left and they would make an ideal Christmas present; see the FOR SALE page for more details.
We are really pleased with Timesawaiting who is also for sale; the four year old was second to Ask The Tycoon and he has settled in well to our routine. He will have his first bit of work this weekend and should be ready for a bumper in a few weeks. There is information on him on the FOR SALE page too.
And finally we will be attending the Cheltenham Sales next Friday the 15th, a sale that has been most successful for us in the past; we bought both One For Arthur and Big River here, and there are some nice types in this year's catalogue; click HERE to see the online version
