Aintree is always an exciting meeting for us and although we have just the two runners we are looking forward to them running.
Ain't My Fault won nicely last time and while this is a much higher grade of race he is in the handicap and deserves a crack at a Class One chase. He has been in good form at home and looks in good shape for this open race.
We are going to be at the track and will check the going for our Friday runner, Ahoy Senor. A big chasing type he would need ease in the ground but the groundstaff at Aintree usually produce safe going so we travel in hope. While Ahoy Senor has only had the one hurdle run he has experience point to pointing and we feel that he has improved in the month since his win. Again this is a Class One novice hurdle but he should be up to the challenge.
Meanwhile One For Arthur will be enjoying his day in the field as he prepares himself for his next career. His owners, Belinda and Debs are close to a decision about his next path and he will love having something more to do. He is very fresh at the moment, see the home page for an outtake from an interview this morning that caused his trainer's hair to curl and the cameraman to fall over..
